VI International Conference "Artificial Societies and Information Technologies"

On September 24-25, 2024, the VI Annual International Conference "Artificial Societies and Information Technologies" was held at the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a round table "Supercomputer Technologies in Social Sciences" was held. Plenary reports were given by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Scientific Director of CEMI RAS Makarov V.L., Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Director of CEMI RAS Bakhtizin A.R., Doctor of Engineering, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Ilyin N.I., Doctor of Engineering, Chief Researcher of the Federal Research Center "Informatics and Control" of the Russian Academy of Sciences Zatsarinny A.A., Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences RAS, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Research Department "Mesoeconomics, Microeconomics, Corporate Economics" of the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kleiner G.B.

The conference covered the following topics:

New approaches to improving the efficiency of management decisions using applied analytics.
Applied use of artificial intelligence for forecasting the processes of state life.
Simulation modeling using an agent-oriented approach to create multifunctional forecasting and analytical systems.
Prospects for the technological development of AI at the industry level with the algorithmization of human activity.
Modern methods of efficient computer processing of BIG DATA data.

Issue No. 4 of the journal "Artificial Societies" for 2018 was published. The issue features an article by V. L. Makarov on the formation of the world of knowledge in the digital age. In the works of E. A. Grishin the modeling of the artificial society agent is considered. In a joint article by E. L. Loginova, V. E. Loginova and A. A. Shkuta, the problem of the “design of thinking” of elements of artificial intelligence is considered. The issue also considers the digitization of the Russian economy; multi-agent modeling in the natural and social sciences; features of the use of agent-based approach in modeling demographic processes, provides an overview of agent-based models of the spread of innovation.
